Chief Financial Officer: Alix Zangrilli

Alix is the CFO of the Knight Family Office, a position she has held since 2018.  In this capacity she oversees all aspects of accounting, tax, financial planning & analysis, as well as many of the operational activities.  Prior to joining the Knight Family Office, Alix was the Controller for a single-family office where she oversaw the accounting and reporting function within the larger office.  She previously served as Chief Operating Officer of the Prime Services EMEA team at Barclays Capital.  She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as part of their Transaction Services group. Alix graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Economics and received her MBA from INSEAD. Alix and her family live in the Roaring Fork Valley where they spend as much time outside as they can.  

Chief Investment Officer: Corbin Methvin

Corbin Methvin has served as Chief Investment Officer for the KFO since 2012 and is involved in all investment and operational activities. Corbin is responsible for overseeing firm capital activities, such as the sourcing, evaluating, structuring and managing of portfolio investments.  Mr. Methvin focuses on opportunistic investments which may include publicly traded securities, alternative investments, venture capital, real estate, private equity and mezzanine debt. Prior to joining the KFO, Corbin was a Vice President at CSG Investments, an affiliate of Beal Bank, where he was responsible for underwriting financings.  Corbin was also a Portfolio Manager at Highland Capital Management responsible for managing a $2 billion multi-industry portfolio of syndicated bank debt, high yield bonds, public equity, private equity and derivative investments.  During his tenure at Highland, Corbin also worked as a Senior Portfolio Analyst where he spent extensive time performing quantitative fundamental credit research.  Prior to that, he worked in the Royal Bank of Canada’s U.S. Debt Capital Markets Group as well as the Pension Consulting Group. Corbin received his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Oklahoma. Outside of work Corbin enjoys running, playing tennis and spending time with his wife and three kids.  He also serves on the finance committee for his church and is a board member of the White Rock Lake Conservancy.

Operations Manager: Gracie Wright

Gracie is the Operations Manager for the KFO. She is responsible for the overall function of the office including project management, office administrative functions, bookkeeping, and varying support for the executives. Gracie also provides oversight for off-site private support staff and is generally the primary contact to address the needs of the office constituents.  Prior to joining the KFO in 2021, Gracie worked in a variety of positions in the natural resources industry, and as an accounting and legal assistant. She received her BS in Accounting from the University of Denver. In her spare time, Gracie enjoys fishing, camping, skiing, and rafting in the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley with her husband and two golden retrievers.  She also enjoys volunteering with a local organization to teach English as a second language in the community.

Investment Analyst: Juliane Blevins

Juliane is responsible for supporting the investment and portfolio management functions of the office. This includes evaluating and executing new investment opportunities plus monitoring existing holdings. As such, she is involved with corporate due diligence, industry research, financial analysis, portfolio optimization, and investment analytics. Juliane earned an M.S. in Business Management from Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business as well as a B.A. in Markets and Culture from Southern Methodist University. Away from the office, Juliane enjoys volunteering at a local nonprofit in Dallas, traveling, skiing, exploring new restaurants, working out, and spending time with her friends and family.

Chief Executive Officer: Lexi Methvin- Retired December 2023

Lexi is responsible for creating the long-term vision of how the Knight Family Office (KFO) may best service the family, setting the KFO’s strategic goals and priorities, and overseeing the implementation of those goals.  Lexi has served in this capacity since 2003.  She attended the University of Oklahoma and received her Master of Arts in Letters in 1991.  Lexi began practicing law in 1994 as a corporate securities attorney after graduating from Emory University School of Law. While in private practice, Lexi was an attorney with the law firms of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP, Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer and Feld, L.L.P., and McAfee & Taft practicing primarily in the area of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and securities.  In 2001, Lexi moved to Aspen, Colorado where she changed her practice focus to real estate and worked with the law firm of Otten, Johnson, Robinson, Neff & Ragonetti, PC.  In 2003, one of her clients asked her to establish a family office to manage his estate, investing, and succession planning, among a wide variety of other matters. Beyond her professional qualifications, Lexi splits her time between Biarritz, France and Carbondale, Colorado and takes advantage of the outdoor opportunities of living next to the ocean and in the mountains.  She enjoys, hiking and trail running with her Australian Shepherds.  Lexi is enthusiastic about travelling adventures, whether they are close to home or exploring other countries and cultures.
